Xbalamque is a very original hotel. All the common areas, as well as the hallways have beautiful paintings and Mayan inspired murals. The rumor says that the owner wishes to be part of the Guinness Records as being the hotel with the greatest quantity of murals. Pay special attention to the main hallway mural, as it is inspired by the Mayan ruins of Palenque and the "Pakal" temple!
